Your pace. Your next step.
Career exploration for first- and second-year MRU students, with reasons you can see and questions you can take to a real person.
No account is needed to explore. Start with a career, your program, a question or a conversation.
How fit works
Your answers are compared with career information using consistent rules. Every reason points to something you selected.
Interests, skills and work settings can give reasons to explore a career. Strong preferences can reveal conflicts, while milder differences appear as trade-offs.
You need at least eight answers to see fit. “Not sure yet” counts as an answer but creates no match or conflict.
- Strong fit
- Several selected interests, skills or settings line up, with no strong conflict.
- Worth a look
- There are reasons to explore it. Read the conflicts and trade-offs beside those reasons.
- Unexpected
- A less familiar career has enough overlap to be worth exploring.
- Likely mismatch
- Some preferences clash, or your answers show little overlap. Read why before deciding what to explore.
These words help you investigate options. They are not a test score, a prediction or a guarantee.
Every career result names your own answer in its reason. Change an answer to see what moves, and undo it if you want.
A person helps with the next step
PaceBridge reads questions, answers them and matches conversation requests by hand. Saving a question does not send it. Requested does not mean booked.
Current profiles are labelled samples. PaceBridge must find a real person and confirm arrangements before a conversation can happen.
Ask a questionWhat stays in this browser
Your answers, saved careers, questions, next steps, runs and summary choices stay in this browser. Keep a summary to take a copy with you.
You choose what to include in an advisor summary. Private notes and requests start off. Signing out leaves your saved path in this browser.
What is stored on the server
PaceBridge stores submitted questions, chat requests and optional accounts to handle your requests. Receipts and updates arrive by email.
Anonymous usage records contain a random browser reference, a time, an action name and small fixed choices or counts.
Examples include the door you chose, a career ID, your answer count and the before/after choices for a what-if.
Usage events do not include names, emails, typed questions, private notes, account IDs or a copy of your full answers.
Records help PaceBridge understand which steps students use and whether a browser returns. They are not student rankings.
We do not sell student data or show ads. Read the privacy details
Ask for deletion
Email PaceBridge support about an account or submitted request. Include its reference if you have it. Deletion requests are handled manually.
Your browser reference
Include this reference when asking PaceBridge to delete anonymous usage records for this browser.
Loading your browser reference.
Keep the reference before clearing site data. Clearing it starts a new reference on your next visit.
You can clear local answers in your browser’s site-data settings. On a shared device, keep a summary and clear site data when finished.
Facts still need checking
PaceBridge currently includes 6 sample careers and 3 sample profiles. Sample entries remain examples until their facts or consent are checked.
Unfinished facts are hidden. Verified career facts show relevant dates beside them. Career pages include an expandable Sources section.
